STATS

We feel the stats are at the heart of our research and the basis for our system and training aid. As you can see by the stats below, there is more to be gained by improving our putting skills from 3’-15’ than in any other area in the game. It would take you increasing every drive you hit by 8-10 yards to equate the same gains as 1 more putt made from 15’. Those are the facts. Most golfers do not realize how much lower their scores should be by emphasizing our research when they practice. We call the 3’ - 15’ zone for putting the “Golden Zone” because that is the easiest and fastest ways to gain strokes on your competitors and lower your scores.

PUTT 30 Fundamentals

1 - Track your putts. You will track the distance of your first putt in feet and total number of putts per hole. Your GOAL is to have 30 total putts or less.

2 - Spend a minimum of 30 minutes a week practicing the “Golden Zone” of putts from 3’-15’ with our PUTT30.com Hole Reducer.

3 - Learn the make % and Strokes Gained numbers for the PGA Tour for putting. This will reward you for 2 putting and not making a bad decisions that lead to a 3 putts. Most people would instinctively have a better read and pace of putt if they knew that 2 putting was gaining strokes on a certain putt.

4 - After each round, review your putting totals and makes. Adjust your practice plan for any consistent misses you may have. Example : Most right hand/ right eye dominant players will be better at “Right to Left” breaking putts vs “Left to Right” breaking putts. Find your weakness and work on it.
